Abstract:
Abstract There were 130 million people aged 60 and above and 88.21 million people aged 65 and above in China in 2000, accounting for 10.2 and 6.96% of the total population, respectively. As of the end of 2016, the number of elderly people aged 60 and above and aged 65 and above were 230 million and 15.03 million, accounting for 16.7 and 10.9% of the total population, respectively.
