Abstract: Abstract This case introduces Zenjiro Yasuda, the owner-manager of a financial zaibatsu that lent funds to the companies of Soichiro Asano, a founder of an industrial zaibatsu, concentrating on the transportation of coal and cement during the Meiji period.
