Chapter Chapter 19 in Business Research, 2023, pp 383-388 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter concludes the book by reiterating that business managers often face unique problems and challenges, for which they may need to conduct sound research. The objective was to simplify sound business research and provide guidance in the design thereof and collect relevant evidence to support their decision-making. This was done by providing a roadmap into the maze of research methodologies, categorized into five themes, namely positivism, post-positivism, interpretivism, critical theory, and pragmatism. In illustrating these themes in practice, 16 different essays are provided.
