Abstract:
Abstract Even if one is exuberantly optimistic about the benefits of technological advancement, it still does not mean that these will outweigh the costs of labour saving technology where employment is required. Undeniably technological progress will dramatically change the way business is done, however, from a developmental standpoint the crucial question is whether the present and forthcoming set of technological advances such as advanced robotics, drones and machines will lead to a profound impact in development remains. The outcomes of new technologies and levels of economic progress in developing nations will be largely determined by the evolving context and practices in not just manufacturing but also in services and agriculture, the third one being particularly important in developing nations.
