Chapter Chapter 16 in Advances in Metric Fixed Point Theory and Applications, 2021, pp 385-408 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract We introduce the notion of $$\alpha $$ α -G-JS-type contractions for two pairs of self-mappings in b-metric spaces. Coincidence points, common fixed points, their uniqueness, as well as periodic points are studied for these mappings under $$\alpha $$ α -compatible and relatively partially $$\alpha $$ α -weakly increasing conditions on $$\alpha $$ α -complete b-metric spaces. The results are verified through an example in order to check their effectiveness and applicability. We apply the results to obtain the existence of solutions for a system of Urysohn integral equations.
