Abstract: Abstract This chapter explores the dynamic and evolving career landscape within the field of airline tour management, offering a comprehensive roadmap for aspiring professionals seeking to enter and excel in this global industry. As airlines continue to expand their role beyond transportation into integrated travel experience providers, the demand for skilled professionals in areas such as tour operations, digital marketing, customer experience design, and sustainability coordination is on the rise. This chapter outlines the key competencies required for success, including strategic planning, intercultural communication, data analytics, and proficiency in travel technologies such as Global Distribution Systems (GDS) platforms, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and artificial intelligence (AI)-based personalization tools.
