Abstract: Abstract This chapter is based on the article “Blockchain Governance in the Wild” by Kevin Werbach, Primevera De Filippi, Joshua Tan, and Gina Pieters, published in Cryptoeconomic Systems in 2024 ( https://doi.org/10.21428/58320208.ebd76eea ). Kevin is the Liem Sioe Liong/First Pacific Company Professor and Chair of the Department of Legal Studies and Business Ethics at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He kindly agreed to summarize their joint research and serves as the corresponding author for this chapter.
