Abstract: Abstract This chapter is based on the article “Decentralization illusion in Decentralized Finance: Evidence from tokenized voting in MakerDAO polls” by Xiaotong Sun, Charalampos Stasinakis, and Georgios Sermpinis, published in Journal of Financial Stability in 2024 ( https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jfs.2024.101286 ). Xiaotong, an Assistant Professor of Finance at City University of Macao, specialized in FinTech research, kindly agreed to summarize their joint research and serves as the corresponding author for this chapter.
