Chapter 10 in Regional Economic Development in China in 2020, 2025, pp 257-289 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Regional economic development is a classic topic that always welcomes new ideas. Over the past 40-plus years, China's coastal areas have gradually become the backbone of the country's economy with the launch of the reform and opening-up campaign and the promulgation of relevant development strategies. This period has also witnessed increasingly prominent imbalance among economic regions, especially that between the coastal and hinterland areas.
