A chapter in Business and Management in Asia: Opportunities and Entrepreneurship, 2026, pp 261-275 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter examines how the Asian entrepreneur has become a key player in transforming international business not just through the opportunities of digital innovation but also through what are socio-cultural resources, like diaspora networks. It brings together comparative knowledge and exemplary profiles across a variety of contexts, India, China, Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan, Bangladesh, and the Philippines, in order to explore how entrepreneurial ecosystems relate and deviate throughout the region. Instead of providing detailed case studies, the discussion points out trends of flexibility, technology usage, and cross-border relationships that spur inclusive and sustainable cross-border business. This analysis gives a strong feature of the fact that hybrid models, such as the localization of global competitiveness practiced by China, or the remittance-based enterprises in Bangladesh, the world realizes that entrepreneurial dominance of the Asian region is forward and progressive, and is a model of long-term business of sustainable, inclusive, and culturally oriented global business.
