Chapter Chapter 6 in Graphical Models and Causal Discovery with Python, 2026, pp 97-126 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter we present LiNGAM (Linear Non-Gaussian Acyclic Model), a method that identifies a causal ordering of variables based on non-Gaussianity. In contrast to the PC algorithm and score-based structure learning, LiNGAM assumes an additive noise model and directly recovers a causal order of variables.
