Chapter 8 in Building a High-quality Modern Circulation System of China, 2026, pp 143-176 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract An efficient modern circulation system serves as the cornerstone for the smooth functioning of the national economic cycle. At the 8th Meeting of the Central Committee for Financial and Economic Affairs held on September 9, 2020, it was explicitly stated that efforts should be made to promote the development of a modern circulation system in a coordinated manner, with emphasis placed on advancing new technologies, business models, and operational paradigms within the sector. Key priorities include driving digital transformation, intelligent upgrading, and cross-sector integration within circulation systems. Empowering the development of a modern circulation system through technology represents a major initiative for establishing a new development pattern of dual circulation, as well as a critical pathway toward promoting high-quality economic growth in China. This approach carries significant strategic importance in the current context.
