Abstract: Abstract The need for today’s modern organization is active management. The active management is one of the key outcomes of developing organizational-level knowledge-oriented leadership. Knowledge-oriented leadership primarily focuses on creating an organizational ecosystem for knowledge sharing, storage, and retrieval. Thereby creating new ideas, new products, and new services for organizational sustainability. This chapter describes the key qualities of the knowledge-oriented leadership style, the role of technology, the challenges faced by knowledge-oriented leaders, and the opportunities for developing this culture to support organizational success.
