Abstract: Abstract This chapter covers the philosophy of Islamic finance, which extends beyond financial and banking practices to encompass the broader scope of the Islamic economy, including broad-based empowerment across all social strata, social aspects, and sustainable development. As part of Islamic moral economy, Islamic social finance is a human-centred economic concept that prioritises social aspects, justice, and equality. The overarching goal of Islamic finance is to achieve quality welfare for all, particularly from an economic perspective.
