Chapter Chapter 6 in Poverty Alleviation and Targeted Measures, 2025, pp 223-248 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping as its core, and with the driving compass of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and his anti-poverty ideas and proposals, China has adhered to the basic strategy of targeted poverty alleviation and elimination, effectively implementing measures concerned. Through accurate identification of poor people, targeted management of the work and effective delivery of targeted measures, poor population and poor areas have been lifted out of poverty. The historic feat has been made possible thanks to the concerted efforts of the CPC and the people, and China has worked out an approach in poverty reduction with its own characteristics.
