Abstract: Abstract The Halal industry has emerged as one of the fastest-growing sectors globally, driven by increasing consumer demand for Halal products and a growing awareness of ethical consumption. As the industry expands, there is a significant opportunity to integrate blue and green economy principles, which emphasize sustainability in both marine (blue) and terrestrial (green) sectors. Despite its potential, the Halal industry faces numerous challenges in implementing sustainable practices. Despite the industry’s expansion, limited research has addressed the convergence of these sustainability concepts with Halal production. This review paper examines the integration of blue and green economy principles into the rapidly expanding Halal industry, which is driven by rising consumer demand for ethical, safe, and environmentally friendly products. The paper reviews existing literature and proposes a sustainable framework for the Halal industry, highlighting key areas such as transparent supply chain management, adherence to ethical and environmental standards, the use of digital technologies to enhance ecological efficiency, and the role of stakeholder engagement. The findings highlight the challenges and opportunities of integrating sustainability into the Halal industry, offering practical implications for businesses, policymakers, and consumers to align Halal practices with global sustainability goals.
