Chapter Chapter 8 in Cooperatives and the Market Economy, 2025, pp 149-169 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The previous chapter argued that shares in cooperative firms can technically be made tradeable in the market. This chapter, in turn, examines how cooperative firms can mitigate the disadvantages they have in the capital market compared with capitalist firms by issuing tradeable shares and using the functions of the share market.
