Abstract:
Abstract This study examines the impact of academic literature on the development of financial science. It also addresses how research in the financial field has elucidated the emergence of FinTech innovations, including mobile payments, blockchain, and artificial intelligence, and their effects on sustainability, efficiency, and cybersecurity. The study emphasizes the significance of academic research in understanding developments within the financial sector. Consequently, this investigation analyzes existing research themes published in various scholarly journals. The study employs an analytical approach utilizing Generative AI, wherein researchers identify relationships between themes that emerge from the results of search data processing through Publish or Perish, followed by VosViewer analysis. This process yields themes such as finance and sustainability, financial performance, and corporate social responsibility, as well as research indicating the need for diversification in financial research methodologies. Furthermore, the study discusses the challenges and opportunities for curriculum development in financial science.
