Chapter Chapter 1 in The Carbon Emission Liability Mechanism, 2025, pp 1-28 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Climate change has emerged as one of the major challenges affecting global development in the twenty-first century. It exerts unprecedented impacts globally, including frequent climate disasters, altered weather patterns leading to food production crises, and rising sea levels, creating catastrophic risks that are affecting countries across the globe without discrimination. Governments and social organizations are increasingly aware of the urgency to take decisive actions to address this dire situation.
