Abstract: Abstract With the introduction of the Digital Industrial Revolution, we are witnessing a significant transformation in the field of supply chain management. This transformation has significantly transformed supply chain management, utilizing advanced technologies like artificial intelligence, data analytics, IoT, big data, business intelligence, robotics, and blockchain. This has led to increased efficiency and agility in supply chain operations. Embracing sustainability in SCM ensures environmental concerns are addressed and offers operational and economic benefits. This study identifies strategies to integrate sustainability into supply chain processes, enhancing efficiency, resilience, and environmental stewardship. In this era of Industry 5.0, new technology can offer ways to integrate sustainability into SCM. By leveraging these technologies, organizations can strengthen efficiency, reduce emissions, and can also reduce waste while promoting sustainable sourcing which would not only help in embracing sustainability but will also provide a competitive edge to the organizations. Industry 5.0 aims to adopt environmentally responsible and human-centric practices within ethical boundaries, aligning technological advances with sustainability. Challenges faced by organizations in integrating sustainability in supply chain processes are highlighted. Case studies and real-world applications demonstrate how organizations can encourage sustainability in their supply chain processes, maximizing resource utilization, reducing carbon footprints, and minimizing waste. The study also underlines the evolution of SCM and provides recommendations for businesses to navigate this era while adhering to their environmental and social responsibilities.
