Abstract: Abstract This chapter analyses provisions related to transparency, investment facilitation, and dispute settlement included in the ASEAN-India Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Cooperation to explain India’s interest to include trade-related competition clauses in FTAs to supplement the country’s domestic efforts to deal with competition issues arising from the cross-country flow of products, investment, and technology transfer.
