Abstract:
Abstract This chapter analyses the US-Japan Digital Trade Agreement (DTA) and show its implications for the regional negotiations on e-commerce and digital trade in Asia. In particular, adopting rules and principles set by RCEP and the ASEAN Agreement on Electric Commerce will be an important step towards advancing a regional legal environment for e-commerce.
