Abstract:
Abstract This chapter examines policy dilemmas facing developing countries arising from the WTO temporary tariff moratorium on electronically transmitted goods. Upgrading domestic capabilities in participating in the digital economy can mitigate the consequence of ‘de-materialisation’ of economic events on public finance that may result from digitalization.
