Abstract:
Abstract This chapter reveals that linking consumer protection provisions with competition policy chapters in FTA helps create a safer, more trustworthy environment for consumers. The implementation of consumer protection requires domestic legislation reforms, international cooperation, as well as cooperation between national consumer protection agencies.
