Abstract This chapter demonstrates the significance of establishing an Online Dispute Resolution mechanism with consumer arbitration in advancing consumer rights and protections for cross-border e-commerce in ASEAN, for which further collaboration is needed amongst member states to harmonise national arbitration laws and create a regional platform.
