Chapter Chapter 3 in A History of German Business, 2026, pp 65-104 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Based on discussions regarding the analytical framework in Chapter 1 , this chapter considers various aspects and situations wherein we analyze the overall business management. The total system of business management is an analytical method for explaining business management’s overall relationships and structure. Of the two parts that comprised the concept of the total system of business management, that is, the external and internal factors in business Management, eight factors regarding the former in Germany are clarified. This chapter examines three periods until the end of World War II: the Second Reich, The Weimar Republic, and National Socialism. It also considers the postwar period for comparison.
