Abstract In this chapter, the study examines entrepreneurs with roots connected to Brazil, Mexico, and Peru, operating in Japan. With a focus on Gunma Prefecture, Shizuoka Prefecture, and Okinawa Prefecture, the chapter explores how embeddedness and local conditions shape entrepreneurship among Nikkei and return migrants.
