Chapter Chapter 3 in Regulating Peer-to-Peer Lending in Vietnam, 2025, pp 69-91 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter presents an overview of general risks related to micro- and/or small-sized finance via P2P lending platforms. It then discusses the risks faced by individual participants in P2P lending schemes, including P2P lenders, P2P borrowers, and platform service providers, as they engage in micro- and/or small-sized finance through P2P lending platforms. By doing so, the chapter explains how P2P lending challenges the conventional risk frameworks applied to micro- and/or small-sized finance in Vietnam.
