Abstract: Abstract The Belt and Road Initiative, including the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, is a critical decision made by China in the new development environment. By digging into ancient China’s splendid Silk Road civilization, the Initiative carries a wealth of historical heritage. The ancient Silk Road greatly contributed to the advancement of the Chinese civilization, civilizations along the route and human civilization as a whole. As a great achievement made by the Chinese civilization and civilizations along the route, the historical and emotional identification it generated is a natural and unique wealth.
