Abstract: Abstract The size of halal food and beverage products is predicted to continue expanding extensively as the Muslim population continues to grow, particularly in areas such as the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and parts of Africa. In addition, the immense interest in halal products among non-Muslim consumers also sparks the expansion of halal product demand and production. Some non-Muslim consumers believe that halal products are related to healthy and quality products and perceive that the production of halal products complies with quality assurance and government legislation. Hence, to tap into this growing market, halal food and beverage manufacturers in Malaysia are striving to improve their production by applying technology as an additional tool. For the time being, RFID technology stands out as the most advanced technology tools for monitoring and verifying halal items, particularly for authentication purposes. Halal Food manufacturer in Malaysia is still in infants’ stage to apply the other advance technology application such as blockchain technology.
