Abstract: Abstract The use of the sea for transportation, seabed engineering, sea reclamation, and special uses all involve construction. For example, port construction and land reclamation can lead to a reduction in tidal volume, deterioration of water quality, siltation in harbors, and a decrease in marine ecological functions.
