Chapter Chapter 2 in Real Analysis Methods for Markov Processes, 2024, pp 21-61 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter is devoted to a review of standard topics from functional analysis such as quasinormed and normed linear spaces and closed and continuous (bounded) linear operators between Banach spaces. Most of the material will be quite familiar to the reader and may be omitted. This chapter, included for the sake of completeness, should serve to settle questions of notation and such.
