Chapter Chapter 10 in Understanding the Digital Revolution and Its Influences, 2024, pp 173-187 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The empowerment of digital technology has led to a fundamental transformation in the social division of labor between individuals and between humans and machines. This implies that the cooperative relationships in the division of labor within the economic system have also undergone fundamental changes. As the basic unit of the division of labor in society, the forms of economic organization must naturally undergo transformation as well. This transformation brings about new opportunities and challenges for economic development, presenting different characteristics and development patterns.
