Chapter Chapter 11 in Business Ethics, 2024, pp 313-341 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Over the first two decades of the twenty-first century, a number of new governance issues impacting business firms have emerged. These include diversity, equity and inclusion, cryptocurrencies, corporate social justice activism, social media platform harmful business models, emerging authoritarian regimes and political trade blocs. These emerging phenomena will impact governance of business firms as they attempt to do business and create value for key stakeholders without harming other stakeholders.
