Abstract:
Abstract In the realm of geography, the strategy of opening-up to the world was subject to regional disparities due to varying geographic tiers. The coastal cities in the east were the fortunate beneficiaries of policy advantages. Renowned scholars such as Hu Angang emphasized in their "Regional Disparity Report of China" that the fundamental cause for the striking gap in per capita GDP between developed and underdeveloped regions lay in the substantial disparity in per capita investment.
