Chapter Chapter 3 in RMB Internationalization in 2023, 2024, pp 105-142 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), which China has actively promoted, is the most extensive free trade agreement (FTA) to date. It should play a more important role in integrating regional factor resources and restructuring industrial and supply chains. Regional cooperation can impact currency internationalization through openness, scale, regulation, allocation effects, and siphon effects.
