Abstract: Abstract From July 8–10, 2022, the 19th Conference of the International Joseph A. Schumpeter Society was held at Hunan Normal University in a hybrid format, combining both online and offline participation. The 19th Conference of the International Joseph A. Schumpeter Society was held for the first time in China and chaired by Prof. Ouyang Yao, President of the 19th Conference of the International Joseph A. Schumpeter Society. Experts and scholars from more than 20 countries and regions, including China, Germany, the UK, France, the USA, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands, Poland, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Korea, India, South Africa, etc., attended the conference. The experts discussed the impact of the technological revolution on global sustainable development, industrial policy, and technological catch-up in developing countries, as well as the innovative development of Schumpeter's theory, taking into account Schumpeter's theory and the development trend of the world economy.
