Abstract: Abstract BRICS is a progressive grouping of five fast-developing economies. States and non-state players, are abundant in their international relations today. An outline study of some of those players, what can be done primarily from the Chinese side, the challenges and possibilities that they may confront, are all what the researcher has tried to find in the present study. A quick and general look through some widely discussed area, sticking on to the key areas from Xiamen deliberations, is what is precisely done. What China could do in those areas to enhance cooperation with India was tried to be drawn from current literature available in various publicly available data bases. Global perspective as to what was expected was also searched from books, literature, and the media. Researcher has also taken an effort to verify these points with the ground level interviews done with several business heads and institutions that have added a small quantity of primary data also in to the present study.
