Chapter Chapter 19 in Research Papers in Statistical Inference for Time Series and Related Models, 2023, pp 445-453 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Optimal transportation is a flourishing area of research and applications in many different fields. We provide an overview of the stability issues related to the use of these techniques by means of a structured discussion of different results available in the literature, which have been developed to face these problems. We point out that important open problems still remain in order to achieve a complete theory of robust optimal transportation.
