Chapter Chapter 3 in Monopoly Control, 2023, pp 47-68 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In many ways the nineteenth century was the most interesting period in Australia’s economic developmenteconomic development; it was after all at this time that so much of what today is regarded as typical of the Australian economy and society was established. Understanding what occurred during this period is therefore important to appreciating what subsequently took place, and so a description of this development is provided in this chapter.
