Chapter Chapter 2 in Enterprise Innovation Ecosystem, 2023, pp 45-70 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract With the growing competition in the market and the shortening of the development cycle of enterprise products and services, the fundamental requirement for enterprise innovation to become a competitive advantage lies in the fact that the enterprise should cater to the market demand with innovation in its products and service in a rapid and high-quality manner within the cost range. The limitation of departmental functions requires companies to achieve cross-functional coordination and resource integration, and the limitation of resources and capabilities of single organization also requires companies to establish extensive contacts with external organizations such as suppliers, users, competitors, universities and research institutions, governments, and intermediaries.
