Abstract: Abstract The degree of intercontinental distribution equilibrium of the leading cities of global urban economic vitality needs to be improved. From the perspective of intercontinental distribution of Top 20 cities in the global urban economic vitality, all cities are concentrated on North America, Europe and Asia. Among them, there exist the largest number of cities of global urban economic vitality in North America among the Top 20 around the world, with a total of 12, the followed is European cities with a total of 6, and the remaining 2 cities are all located in Asia.
