Abstract: Abstract In order to meet its surging appetite for oil and gas, China has to rely on foreign energy imports thanks to inadequate indigenous resources. Its growing dependence on foreign energy resources is a prime factor that has prompted Chinese NOCs to make forays into foreign countries.
