Chapter Chapter 3 in A Phenomenology of Career Change in the Malaysian Workforce, 2023, pp 47-68 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract It has been clearly established in past career change research that undergoing a career change can be driven by different motivations, shaped by different preferences and perceived with different meanings. These nuances inevitably contour the trajectory and outcome of a career change, giving rise to heterogeneous experiences of the phenomenon. In this chapter, three significant narratives: Rejectors, Navigators and Seekers, that have emerged from the phenomenological study are introduced to demonstrate the multifaceted experience of a career change.
