Chapter 3 in The 5G Era, 2023, pp 129-189 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Prior to the 5G era, the development of transport has gone through several stages. The most primitive means of transport were the feet of man, then horses and donkeys, which were domesticated by man, as well as carriages and ox carts, while sedan chairs and animal-powered tools coexisted for a long time, and later, with the advent of the steam engine, cars and trains replaced the primitive means of transport. With the rapid development of civilisation, it has become commonplace for humans to travel to the sky, to the earth and to the sea. In the upcoming 5G era, human transport will become even smarter and more powerful.
