Chapter Chapter 8 in Financial Inclusion in China, 2023, pp 157-168 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract A number of countries have prioritized and promoted inclusive finance which has yielded fruitful results in expanding the scope and objectives of inclusive finance. All of these “success stories” of inclusive finance are mirrors of the specific historical, cultural, political and financial context of their countries. While remarkable achievements have been made in the development of inclusive finance in China, which may provide lessons for other countries, it also faces some challenges. In a near future, the goal of China's inclusive financial development is to serve the common wealth with high-quality development, which will pay more attention to safety and sustainable development, plan for financial health, and enhance the capability and development of inclusive finance.
