Abstract: Abstract With the outbreak of the global financial crisis as the dividing line and the federal funds rate and the reserve balances of depository institutions at Federal Reserve Banks as the characterization indicators of the Fed's conventional monetary policy and quantitative easing policy respectively, this chapter uses a VAR model to empirically study the impact of shocks from relevant policy variables on the economic variables of major countries and China before and after the adjustment of U.S. monetary policy.
