A chapter in Blockchain in Real Estate, 2024, pp 257-271 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this brief letter, the chapter provides an overview of the current landscape of tokenized real estate. A comparative analysis is undertaken between the active secondary markets for tokenized or fractionalized assets in Thailand, a developing country, and the United States of America, a developed nation. The processes associated with real estate tokenization are outlined for both countries, with a particular emphasis on Thailand. Drawing from critical reviews found in media and academic papers, the chapter posits that entities engaged in real estate tokenization within developing countries should focus on learning strategies to enhance the success of tokenization in the industry.
