Abstract:
Abstract By synthesizing the literature reviews and summarizing the policies made by the Central and Eastern European countries in attracting inward FDI and improving the linkages between FDI and domestic firms, the study brings out the significant lessions for Vietnam, which include (i) linkage formation; (ii) attracting foreign investors; (iii) improving the labor quality; (iv) increasing the domestic firms’ capacity; (v) improving the linkage between FDI and domestic firms; and (vi) macroeconomic policies.
