Chapter Chapter 6 in Research on Innovation of Express Delivery Network Management, 2024, pp 143-168 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter, factor analysis is used to identify the key components of logistics express delivery networks. This chapter reviews the suitability of different methods by comparing commonly-used evaluation methods and factor analysis, selecting an appropriate analysis method and constructing a mathematical model for factor analysis. It also provides an overview of the factor analysis process. Specifically, the maximum variance, maximum equilibrium value, and regression evaluation methods are summarized. Upon comparison, a suitable evaluation method is chosen. Finally, through empirical analysis and the factor analysis of thirteen indicators in four aspects, the main factors that influence the development of the express delivery industry and the distribution of regional logistics are identified.
